Oftentimes, tea aficionados enter into specialty cafés desiring either a matcha or chai latte. At Tov Tea, we saw that many cafes sold beautiful coffees, but the tea program was often lacking. We work in tandem with café owners to offer quality teas that are on par with the coffee they serve. Our partners choose us because we elevate specialty beverage standards and are committed to naturally grown tea and ethical and direct sourcing whenever possible. When you visit our partner cafes, you will always find premium, hand-blended chai, and single-origin, stone-ground Japanese matcha.
Our Story
We named our company Tov Tea because of the dynamic and deep meaning behind the Hebrew word “tov”. Tov in its most basic form means good or that which is life-giving, beneficial, beautiful, etc… Tov has explosive power and implies something which fulfills the purpose for which it was intended. The ability to continue to create is what is truly good, healthy, and beneficial.
Tov Tea is dedicated to providing the best quality artisan teas in a manner that creates a better world for everyone - beginning with our farmers, through our supply chain, wholesale cafes, and ultimately, your consumers. To do good in all aspects of business, in every interaction, because we believe in the power of doing good and strive to embody it in all we do.
Tov Tea was founded so we could bring these beautiful teas to the world and create a work culture steeped in love. We ask you to take a break with us. Artistry and Craftmanship
At Tov Tea, we pride ourselves on offering naturally grown teas of exceptional quality and taste. We believe the key to achieving this lies in sourcing our tea leaves from farmers who share our values of ecologically sustainable farming and traditional tea-making artistry and craftsmanship. Our teas are meticulously curated to ensure, whenever possible, they are single-origin, organically sourced, and always free from any harmful chemicals or additives. Have peace of mind knowing each cup is non-GMO, gluten-free, and most are vegan. Trust us, it can be done!

We are a small business that is 100% female-owned and operated. We strongly believe in supporting women both locally and globally. As much as possible, we collaborate and partner with female business owners and individuals who value equity. We support an international program to foster new female business owners’ confidence and skillsets as they launch their businesses. Tov Tea always advocates for women, and we celebrate one another's success.

We are committed to giving 1% of profits back to the places where we source and serve. Together, we can create a good life filled with healing, happiness, and purpose.
